Finally got to the car wash and knocked several pounds of glop and limestone gravel dust off the undercarriage, as well as the wheel wells. Gave the rest of the truck a quick rinse, nothing too detailed since we are supposed to get MORE snow/rain/ice over the next week or so. Yuck!
Also received my spray paint , primer and clearcoat from Automotive Touchup, so I can finish sanding and prepping the eyelids and get them painted when the weather warms up enough.
Then, awaiting the new bedside decals for eventual installation!

Got my color matched grill in from camelback toyota. Super excited opening it, just to find out there's a huge chip in it!
Ok, it's not THAT big, but very noticeable. Anyone ever heard of quality control!?

That does suck to not start out chipless but I think I'd just skip the hassle and touch it up vs. sending it back and all. I mean it will be prone to more chipping with it being on front of the truck going down the highway. Just me tho, do what you need to..............

I fully understand where you're coming from and appreciate your stance on it. Maybe give them a call and tell them what you received and send them a pic and see if they'll refund you some cash or at least send you the touchup paint for free. If they pay for shipping both ways to get a new scratchless one I would do it I guess. It's just the time wasted and all. Sorry it turned out that way, you should get what you paid for. Good luck with it.

    Yes.
I dunno, I dropped my truck on the Aluminum skid plate three or four times this last year, and while it was beat up. The stock steel plate under it was unmarked.
