    5100 fronts so far
    06 prerunner with stock 16" steel wheels, will a 265-70-16 fit with out hitting upper control arm , the 245's are pritty close as it is, i know the off road 16 alloys will fit fine but they are wider than the steels

    What size rims and tires are you running?? Aren't they the stock steels??

    I had the stock steels originally with 245's then went with 265's on them, but then upgraded to a 17x9 rim w/265's which are wider than the stock alloys and I haven't had any issues with hitting the UCA's.

    Stock steels and stock alloys are interchangable on the sr5/trd/base models, 6 lug, 2nd gen Tacomas and 265/70/16 will fit on both rims and all those models.

    It is my understanding that it's not really the width that would be an issue, it would be the offset on an aftermarket wheel that would cause a problem with the UCA.
