So the Clazzios are covers? You leave the factory cloth on underneath? I thought you took off the factory cloth first. Maybe that's only with Katzkin.

 

Thanks for mentioning that. That was the main thing stopping me from ordering some for my 2011.

 

Clazzio has four choices for the inside area (Insert); Perforated Genuine Leather, Artificial Suede, Quilted PVC "Diamond Stitch", and Perforated PVC . The outside area (body); is made of a soft PVC which gives you flexibility for the installation. Clazzio Leather Seat Covers are made of tough materials, suited for the harsh conditions of a vehicle's interior, and come with a 1 Year Manufacturers warranty.

They are just covers. You leave the factory cloth on.

 

I was a little worried on how the heated seats would work after the install of the covers and they still work great. Can't notice a difference in the heat output. Just the heat up time has been extended due to the extra material. Maybe a minute longer.

 

Cool, I can live with that. I took the time to make my factory seats heated so naturally the heating element pad is directly on top of the foam.

Is there extra padding under the covers--do they make the seats more comfortable?

They are a little padded not much though. I think they make the seats a little more comfortable. I like leather over cloth though. They are definitely worth it. I'm not a neoprene guy, don't like the looks of them. And katskinz are to much for me. Then I came across these covers and absolutely love them! I had them for 2 years in 2010 and they looked brand-new when I traded her in. They show no wear and hold up great. To me they are definitely worth the extra cost over WO and cover kings.

I was going to order up some katzkin on Monday, until I saw this. Look good, and the easier install is what has me considering the clazzio. The look great in the pictures, are there any areas where they bunched or fold weird like some covers do?
I had katzkin in my last taco and really liked it but am now leaning this way

 

They don't bunch up or fold weird at all. They look great and have a "factory" look to them! If you put in the effort they will look great! There's not really a way to half ass the install so the out come is going to turn out great. And under half the cost of katzkin and you can put them on in the driveway.

 

Just ordered my custom black with dark grey insert and red stitching. With a trd embroidered logo in the headrest total came to $694. Got a $75 dollar coupon code to help out some. Kinda wishing I would have gotten stock black or grey, as the custom order can take anywhere from 8-16 weeks!! Excited to get them on. Should totally transform my interior.

 

I'll give them a shot, thank you for sharing and introducing me to something I didn't know was out there. I'm going to see if they can do perforated black with orange stiching(that's what I have now) but if the wait is too long I'll just go with black. Cheers!

 

They shoot be able to do whatever combo you would like. Just the wait time kept me from going the custom route.

I put my order in for some Black ones they had in stock on the 2nd.I just checked shipping and they are arriving today on the 6th! Ill post a pic on this thread if i get them on tonight.
