The premise to the drawing is to point out that dyno graphs are worthless. Day in and day out everyone judges how fast a vehicle is buy graphs, its total BS.

Pick a number and you have it.

It's an intentionally poor drawing with an underlying perspective in mind; lighten up a bit guy - it was made to establish a point.

I am not making a fart joke for you to giggle at (or w/e knee slapping crap you do find humorous).

Every dyno reads different, every operator is more or less honest then the next guy, and conditions always change.

Most dont understand this and take a curve as gospel.

I can whip up a 400 HP graph for a kia forte if you want one.

Dynos are tuning instruments & ego boosters, nothing more.

Dyno graphes in magazine ads generally convince me that the product does not perform well enough to justify the expense. They alter the scale and make the difference real dramatic on paper but it usually is a very minimal difference and not worth spending any money.

Dyno graphs mean nothing to me. Personal testimonies from people with real experience with products weighs much more than an easily inflated dyno sheet.

    Lots.
I am not supercharged or know nearly as much as gadget or xrunnit but here is my take...

On URD's site it says that the kit is $5,850. To get to Stage III. The 400+ whp range you need to spend an additional:

    -DTLTH - $515 + gaskets + O2 sensor sim
    -URD Y-Pipe - $425
    -URD Cat-Back Exhaust - $530
    -70mm pulley - $100?
-New Stage III calibration file for the X-1 engine management system - ???
-Installing the Grill Craft MX Series grill to improve airflow over the front mount intercooler. - 100
-Valve Body Upgrade for Auto Trans - ??? (Sounds expensive lol)

Another $1,650+ and then install prices if you aren't going to do it yourself will be close to another $700-$1000.

So maybe more like - $7,850 before you see 400+ whp.

I have the TRD Supercharger and you can get a whole lot more than 70 hp out of it with a little tuning and a few parts, and if anyone claims its not worth it, they don't have it or they expect it to make their truck a 10 sec runner in the quarter mile just by bolting a SC on (silly). Plus nothing like roasting a pony GT in a truck with 33's and a 3' lift, they never see it coming. TRD claims 5-6 lbs of boost, I can show video of my gauge where you can reach 12, so its nothing like driving a Honda Accord. The gas is not an issue keep your foot in it and it will suck it, that is what it is made to do, I can run 70 to 80 in OD on the interstate and not create any boost and still get good mileage for a 4X4. One last note I'm no Gear Head I had to have help with the install and I got most all of it from this site so you can do it all yourself.

Always get a picture. It's not bs and I wish I could prove it right about now.

The blower is 'advertised' at 5-6psi, but they published it will make 7-8psi.

If you are hitting 12psi without a lot of pulley work, then you have issues. You have way too much backpressure if that is true. I would suggest getting that fixed before something gets broke.

I have pulley work upgrades from URD and work done here at home by a machine shop, if you are referring to the exhaust back pressure remember I'm not a gear head learn as I go, the DT long tube headers, URD Y pipe and 2.5in exhaust with no restrictions, is what I've done for that problem and you are right I have had to replace blown gaskets once, before I corrected the problem.

What size upper pulley are you running? Are you running a bottom pulley as well?

If you are still recording 12psi with that exhaust, then you may have a faulty gauge.

The upper is a URD 2.85 and the work to the bottom pulleys where done here, to reach 12lbs of boost, I have to take the top of the CAI and then I put 5lbs of a frozen gel I have at work but maybe my gauge is faulty, but without doing that it will reach 10lbs or it says it is, I can have my friend look into the gauge being crap he's helped with all my mods so far, but right or wrong it will haul azz and is fun as hell to drive.

I talked to my buddy who did that whole mod and all the pulleys have been shaved as he called it, not just two pulleys when I can get you the exact #'s I will. I did take the stock belt from TRD which I shredded the first week, and the measurements of it are 1.5 in larger than the new belt I'm running, and I have changed both and the new one is a "exwife+alimonycheck" to get on. When it comes to changing the headers,CIA, injectors no problem, but he is the one who data collects and tunes the X-one with all the mods and does all the SC up, right now I don't understand half the stuff he wants to do.

Need to install two fuel pumps and a high flow filter, shes losing too much pressure.

I have plenty of accel videos - just not on the giggle gas.

That stage IV clutch should hold it fine.

Hope to have everything squared away in January and run in the spring.
