I only have one now, and it's on my phone. I'll probably post it this evening. I do love the truck though. Now I just have to figure out where to start dumping money into it...

About to get the same vehicle except it's an offroad inferno. Why don't they like the color?

    I don't think it's the color as much as it's a gen 3.

How does the new V6 feel on power compared to the 4.0?

I love my new 2016. I never owned one before but it was real easy to fall in love with it.

I have no experience with the 4.0 but I like my V6. The only problem I have with my 16 TACO is fighting the urge to mod it!!:bananadance:

little sluggish. still tryin to figure out the "meat" of my power/gears...takes getting used to I guess. Other on here tell me things get better after I get more miles on it. Hope so, 1500 miles so far, and not much different.

The 3.5 deffinently has power but not as much as the 4.0, My 2016 will hit 112 where my 2011 tx pro would hit 115. "Max speed"

My 2012 4Runner with 4.0 does seem to have a bit more low end torque but doesn't seem to rev as freely as the 3.5. However, it could be the extra gear or vehicle weight difference that I'm noticing. I also have a 2001 with a 3.4 and there's not a tremendous difference between any of them except when towing. And the 4.0 definitely sucks more gas than either of the others.

For me it was hard to compare the 4.0 in the 2012 4Runner vs my 2008 Tacoma. My truck is a 6spd, and of course the 4Runner was auto. Seemed like I had to mash the gas pedal to get the transmission to show any life.

My guy says its not rubbing. We shall see in a few hours. Its got a 6" PC lift, 325/65R17 BFGs (I think). All the options inside. I'm new to the taco world so pardon my lack of knowledge/industry lingo. I have the ExpeditionOne full front and rear bumpers ordered, 3 weeks out.
