I had to do the same thing once I put the leather shift knob on my V-6 RAV4...

I knew it! As I was on my way to work this morning, lesser vehicles would pull off the road and let me past.

Oh wait.....That's because of the police car and fire truck coming up behind me! Thought it was the shifter knob.....

    Never mind.

Damn! I'm starting to develope a bad case of paranoia. After being passed by a policecar and a fire truck this morning on the way to work, the wife and I just got swarmed by 5 police cars running stop signs, jumping curbs, and in general, looking like a scene from C.H.I.P.S. (We'll see how old the audience is now) We were on our way home from dinner when the boys in blue were responding to someone trying to hold up a gas station just down the road from us. Think I'll stay under the porch the rest of the weekend

That is scary.....Back when I worked for Honda, I met a very young Bruce Penhall while he was still racing speedway bikes. He was just a kid then. He was the youngest cast member only appearing in the last season. The kid could do Jedi mind tricks on a motorcycle.....Pure talent!

This may be old news to some of you, but I just heard.....Blue Holler ORP is closed, probably for good.....EPA shut it down due to contamination of water flowing into Mammoth Cave. Good thing some of us managed to get there back in November. It wasn't the worlds greatest ORP, but it was OK. And it was close to home. Sux.

I MAY ne going Thursday, depending on how my boss reacts to me asking off that day....
I work about 1/4-mile from the main entrance to the Fair and Expo Center.....

Gonna try to shoehorn the truck into the garage on Saturday to do an install on my new suspension stuff (that got here just a few minutes ago!!)

Sunday is Valentines Day....Going to a dinner/dance Saturday night. Normally go to tractor pulls on Saturday night of NFMS. Not this year.

I sure hope we don't have any peeping Toms in the neighborhood......else they may see me sitting here fondling my 5100/885 assembled struts!

Time to go out and start clearing some space in the garage. Low temps in single digits and highs in the mid 20's this week and next. Gonna need indoor work space.....and lots of firewood for the wood stove!

I've got several farming buddies with a whole lot of money that have hotel rooms and all the essentials for a hell of a weekend at the show. I've never been but I'm sure I would enjoy myself.

Depending on how much rust your truck has you may need more than one day for the install, I did. I had been hitting everything with PB Blaster weeks prior to install too. You being an '11 though shouldn't be too bad I'd say.

Everything that I'll be working on has been off the truck in the last few months. I had the Toytech lift on it until the shocks blew out. Then I put the stock stuff back on with the top plate spacers. I'm pretty sure things will come apart fairly easy.

Louisville is party central while the farm show is going on. Any place that sells alcohol will have a "Welcome NFMS" sign above the front door! More diesel pick ups running around town now than you'll see any other time of the year. Lots of "professional women" in town too!
