About "am i crazy?"

I thoroughly enjoyed Thursday night's thread entitled "am I crazy?" Within a day the topic had more than 30 pages and 600 replies. Then, suddenly and without warning the thread was removed. I was saddened by the disappearance of the thread, but it only got worse. A day later the thread re-appeared but had become limited to members only.

I have to ask, what is going on here? Are we so afraid of what others might think and say that we can no longer be free to express ourselves, our opinions, our differences?

What did we learn from that thread, about ourselves, our friends, and the world?
