    I am thinking I'm going to end up mounting it on the bumper after all. With a snorkel in mind, I think it would be a bit much with the ditch light and an antenna in the corner of the windshield.

    Why don't you mount it on your bed rack on a hinged bracket and when not using it lay it flat..:notsure:

    That's an option, too. I'm not concerned with it being up at all times, more so I'm concerned with it being hung up on the ditch light. I'm still open to having it mounted on the bracket, just don't know if that would be too much going on in the passenger side.

    Yeah it may look a little busy...if it were me and my plan when I do one is to mount on the back of the bed by the tailgate..
