What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

How are you securing your mtb on the bed?

 

Installed a Pop & Lock but the actuator does not move up quite enough to lock the tailgate. Once it's locked manually, it unlocks it perfectly. I put an email out to Pop & Lock to see if I screwed something up or if something was screwed up on their end. Either way, I could rig up a solution fairly easily.

 

Did you use the plastidip glossifier as well?

 

I didn't but might add a coat or two tomorrow.

 

eBay has them for about $65 a set which is about what dealerships are selling them for. These are OEM flaps though.

88P should do those in like 2 minutes a tire.

I'm an expert at that. The faking it part... Making it has evaded me pretty well.

The Viair is an excellent air compressor but I ended up buy one from goodyear because it comes with a 120v power cord. I like the fact that you can plug it in our bed without having to lift the hood with the alligator clips that the Viair comes with. This way I can use it for more than just my truck.... Tire size is the factory (for the sport) 265/65/17. I just got them from the dealer as they matched a pretty good online price. Probably could have gotten them for less after install elsewhere, but I preferred the piece of mind of having the dealer do it.

 

From my experience and I have changed everything over to LED is the turn signals bulbs are the only ones that need resistors, or you will get hyper flash.
