It was -20 at the start of the hike, by the end I was in a t-shirt and it was around 0 lol

True story right there. You were probably sweating on the uphill sections the same as you would be digging a big hole in the middle of summer.

I'm glad you enjoyed it... feel free to post future reports / pics in here, I like that stuff.

Heck yeah! My buddy had some interesting icicles forming on his hat. The best part about the CO mountains is you can leave a sweaty shirt out in the sun on a below zero day and it will dry! I had to take the other groups sled back to the cars, which was mostly uphill, still beat everyone back. haha

I would love to come to Colorado and camp and wheel. With 300 on the odometer that would be probably be the death of her though lol

Pffft you just don't want to cause that's the one thing my 4runner has wrong with it. Either way though I'm still gonna run circles around you :luvya:
Nah she'd be fine. Just take her slow and give her lots of breaks

Yeah, the no experience is one of the things that stopped me from trying to do the swap. I know a guy who's done it, and could probably do it for cheap, but I'm not sure I'm ready for that yet

This looks like a HOOT!! Your rig looks great Ramon. I love the window sticker...any of the Jeep guys say anything to ya?? Any pictures with your tent up?? That's awesome it kept you dry and warm. Did it make any negative feel or any problems while wheeling with your tent on top?? I need to get serious and check into one of these. Oh...where are y'all in Florida...my mother and father in law are there in Sarasota Florida.

    MORE PICTURES PLEASE!!! :worthless:
