Funny, we are all on the same road, but just taking the exits in different orders. Ha!

Hey guys, got the locking doors. The FEDEX envelope looked like it had been off-roading without skid plates, so I was worried - but no need. The doors look great, no problems. Plan to swap them out tomorrow. Thanks for a great product. I'll add pix once installed.

Yeah, no doubt. I liked the "Reusable Sturdy Pak." Sturdy - ok, I'll buy that. Reusable.....not so much.

I think it's only "reusable" because it has two separate sticky strips on the flap. I use both just to make sure it doesn't come open on it's "offroad adventure".

The correct term = CFO (chief financial officer) & try this.............go buy her something she wants/likes out of the blue and THEN ask about truck parts/car parts/bike parts/computer stuff/etc or do the trade thing - if you let me get this then you could go get this or just go with if you wanna go get X and make her come around to OK what do you want. These are all "team" approach methods and they have to respect that and good things happen when employing the team mentality. Also, comes around goes around and you'll have her coming and asking when she wants to get something and out of the blue, you get to get a new toy. That's how I roll widdit and it works out pretty damn good.....for both parties.

I like to just buy it and let her get mad at me. She stays mad for a week or two, then it goes away and I still have what I wanted. Win/Win?

Do you by any chance have a short and long door in stock? Website says back order but just thought I'd ask. Very cool product.

They'll return to stock Monday, all parts are done and back from powder coat. You can still place an order and they'll go on back order but will ship next week.

Question for you guys. I just put the doors together (got them in the mail Friday) and while I *think* I got them assembled correctly I can't get the locks to line up with the slots in the bed. I have a 2013 Tacoma long bed and bought 1 short/1 long door. It's almost like I need to dremel the bed slots where the locks go a little bit to get it to swing into the locked position. The doors fit fine otherwise, I just can't get them to lock in place.

Is there a fix or easy way to fix short of cutting out a little of the area where they will lock in the truck's bed? It's like the slot in the bed needs to be longer to accommodate the locks on the doors.

Send me a pic of the doors assembled. Sounds like you have something assembled wrong.

Here are some pics of how I have them. I have the short and long doors assembled the same way. The latch is keyed to really only go on one way right? It's when I go to make them to the locked position it's like the locks need more clearance to engage the slots on the bed.

I have it lock, thin black gasket, door, and nut holding the lock on the inside down. I assumed the thin plastic gasket/washer went under the lock on the front side of the door. It's so thin I don't think it's the problem.
