Dammit , those spoiled fans need a miss like every other team once in awhile. Unless we're talking Toronto ... they forgot what post season means.

 

Saw it coming, a mile away. The game against the Habs was a perfect storm. Afternoon game (which the Oilers suck at). Plus facing a slumping team. The Oilers are the official slump-busters of the NHL. And Ben Scrivens has going to kill himself - if that's what it took - to keep the Oilers from scoring. They lost that game before it even began.
Today? Well that was just a shit show!! Winning the 2 games right after the ASB - then all the talk was, "omg.....look how amazing they are.....look at all that swagger!!!" As soon as anyone mentions the word "swagger" with regards to the Oilers......you can guarantee a run of 4 or 5 'shit show' games from them.
They have some potent offense. But the D is shit grade A shit!! And the Islanders sure showed that today. Oh....and the goalies couldn't stop a beach ball today!!

 

Good scouting has brought Detroit ongoing success in late round drafting. That has proven tough to topple

Whose the resident Wild fan in here again? This deadline is going to be tough for your team to make big moves like the GM is talking. Missing more than half of this upcoming years draft picks and being so contract heavy is a bad combo in this market IMHO.
