Recommend mufflers to go with LCE headers

I just installed a set of lce headers on my 2.7 and I'm looking to get more exhaust noise. I think I've read just about every muffler post but I couldn't find much specific with lce headers for the 2.7. And like everyone else, I want something with little drone, doesn't compromise low end torque, etc. Can anyone recommend what mufflers they used with their lce headers? I've heard it sounds different compared to equipping a muffler on stock headers. Right now I'm leaning towards magnaflow. Thoughts?

Have you looked into just getting the full LCE exhaust?

Also, I am about to install a new header and exhaust. Any videos or pictures that helped you in the process? Any tips?

From what I've read, it seems like the factory exhaust is already very good. I just want more noise so I'm looking to just cut and weld in a new one.

LCE has a video of the install which was very helpful. One thing the video did not include which would have helped a lot was a) grease up those bolts a bit before removing especially the spring bolts underneath b) the video doesn't mention undoing the screws holding down the AC lines but if you want to prevent scratching your headers, you definitely should (not the same as disconnecting the lines -- just the screws supporting it down)

Free bump and another question. Got a dynomax super turbo, want it to be louder but like the power it gave me. Will a 14" magnaflow make any extra hp like the dynomax did but sound louder, not like straight pipe loud.

From what I've read, a muffler isn't going to give much, if any, performance gains. If you get one it's mainly for the sound. I haven't heard either the magnaflow or dynomax in person -- only YouTube videos. And they do sound somewhat similar in that they aren't very throaty like a flowmaster. I'm personally going to go with magnaflow most likely because the consensus on TW seems to favor them over others.

I went with LCE's full set up. Turns out they have engineered their full exhaust around Magnaflow. Their full setup comes with Magnaflow cat and muffler. I also got a much better deal by getting it all in one place at the same time.

That's awesome! I had no idea about the Magnaflow cat and muffler. I probably won't be investing anymore money into the exhaust unless I can see gains as good as what the headers did. Thanks for sharing!

Update: I went with a Magnaflow 14" muffler. Sounds great! Not too loud, not too quiet. Drone is definitely present but not bad enough to bother me. Radio easily drowns it out.

But for some reason, I felt like I lost a TON of low end torque. Ended up reinstalling my intake resonator and that immediately did the trick. Drives better than before. So for anyone looking to remove the intake resonator, I'd say keep it in there.

I went with Flowmaster. I guy here did a dyno run with a Magnaflow and then a Flowmaster muffler. Both were run with the LCE header; the only change between runs was the muffler. The Flowmaster produced measurably more HP. And it sounds great! Louder than the Magnaflow, but better sound (IMHO).

Did it have any affect on torque?
