I have always used and will continue to use a standard flat blade shovel. No it doesn't move as much snow, and it takes longer, but it is way easier on the back, does a better job at scraping on the pavement and you are sure as hell never going to break it moving snow.

I figured, I just mean snow shovels in general. They're too short which means you have to get low, and since they're so wide, if the snow has any moisture to it, it is too heavy imo and kills your back.

Unrelated but I like your front door haha. I have been looking at styles. Once this cold weather snaps, I am going to put a new front door on the house, build it out and put a glass storm door on and rip out the slider and put in french doors.

I'm looking for a locked 80 series, LX450 or Landcruiser. Don't be scared of the mileage with the 100 series. As long as its been well maintained they run forever, it's a Toyota. I've been lurking over on IH8mud reading about 80 series, a lot of info over there about LC'ers.

Yup, at work people didnt believe me that the regular shovel i bummed off of one of the contractors was better than the plastic shovels they had until i had cleared out twice as many carts as they had in half the time, and wasnt burned out after i was done
