Thank you, I really like them. Sounds about right but I bought the wheels, tires and lift together from a local business. FYI they rub a little when turning into sharp angled driveways. Well that if you have a Sport, the OFF Road version doesn't have that wind deflector beneath the front bumper. I plan to cut about an inch off, its not a big deal. I hope this helps. Good luck and enjoy!

Does anyone know how large of a tire/wheel combo will clear a 16 TRD Sport 2 wheel drive. I am handicapped so can't really lift the truck 2"-3". Wish I could. I just don't want to shop until I know what others are clearing on 2 wheel drives. Not looking to cut or shave anything on my new truck for tire fitment.

Sweet, thanks for heads up, I will be getting the OR and leveling it with 3" so hopefully it won't rub! Did you get the -8 mm offset and how wide are your tires?

Alright unless your a cop in the state of Maine then you have no clue what is ticketable and what's not! I happen to work in public safety and happen to have close friends that are Sargents in the local sheriffs office that have confirmed this law with me. I'm not saying it illegal it's just not something I'll get a ticket for. They can if they want pull me over and advise me of the violation but that's it, witch in Maine never happens, we get 1 cop for every 50 square miles they have better cop stuff to do.

I debadged, removed the air dam, installed vinyl tailgate lettering, and swapped all the interior lighting for LEDs. Small (cheap) improvements but big impact. I'd take pictures but we've all seen these mods.

I don't think he was referring to yours a 265/75R16 is far from huge. But there's guys on here that have them to mall crawl (Spacer lift+huge wheels)

IDK but they only stick out about an inch. I didn't want to modify the factory spec too much. I made sure to talk to Toyota before making theses changes, preserve that factory warranty. All "TRDs" need a 3/2 for leveling and a 1/2" carrier bearing drop other wise it won't look even and will make abnormal sounds. I learned from experiencing it. The suspension height difference is not the same as the Prerunner which calls for 3/1. Most shops don't know this because they haven't worked on a 16 Taco.

I would look at drive shaft, is your rear shimed or tapered? I had same sound as you describing on straight blocks

I would ask your local tire shop to mount a wheel/tire combo(size you are considering) to check for clearance. The key is to avoid a wide tire.

Has anyone changed their own oil yet? I would like to do so at the first 1,000 miles and I have not seen a tutorial on how to do so with the new engine. Doesn't look like it's that complicated but it makes it a lot easier to see someone else do it first. Lol
