Yeah, I looked for a thread. I could not find one. The temperature is -20 to -30 up here im assuming its just condensation. Wife and I were driving a couple hours out to the hot springs and my case started to drip water down on to my shifter. I had the defroster on high just cruising along. I really wasnt to worried about it. Last night i pulled my truck in my buddies garage to put some shelves in my tool box and I notice more water in the cup holder, and it was wet in the case too. Has anybody ever heard of this happening ? This is my second winter up here with this truck. I'll try to post some pictures if it happens again but who knows. My trucks an 09, and no hole in the roof that I can see.

Just encountered a similar water leak dripping down from the sunglass holder within the overhead console. It happened as I ran my 2007 Quad cab through a car wash. No wonder my overhead guages stopped working a while back:mad:

Yeah, that's not normal. Like most have been saying, there's a TSB out there. I had my '06 for 2 years and never had any condensation build up. In fact, I don't think I've ever had any type of condensation in any of my vehicles other than a bit of fog on the windows. The coldest I've driven a vehicle was about -65, and at that point nothing wants to work, but I never had any condensation.

Good luck to ya, and aren't you glad to finally start seeing the sunshine again. I keep thinking about my motorcycle sitting in the garage and realize there are still 4 more months before it'll get used.

Hi, apologies for resurecting an old thread. Does anyone know if this tsb applies to 2010s as well. Just noticed a drip from the overhead sunglass compartment. Im assuming its the same problem.

Has anyone here found where their water leak was coming from? I’m having a water leak coming from the Garage door opener/sun glass case on my headliner as well. I noticed it when it started raining heavily while I was at work. I got in my truck and started driving, once i hit my brakes water started gushing out.

Chevy had a lot of issues with the Colorado doing this in the first gen and it was the 3rd ligght. This is similar so I bet Oz is correct
