I have a 01 Tacoma non ABS 4.10 that needs to be replaced. I found an 02 front differential, 4.10 with ABS. Anyone know if this will work?

I'm pretty sure the ABS only has to do with the wheel hubs, and not the diff. However, if you are talking about ADD instead (automatic disconnecting differential), I don't know if those are interchangeable. They may be with some tweaking.

shouldn't be a problem. As Thundrone stated the wheel speed sensors are in the steering knuckles. I don't think there were manual hubs in 01 and vacuum ADD was long gone so the diff's should be the same.

Should not be a problem, you will just have the ABS stuff on new parts that you will just leave unplugged because your trucks control modules are not looking for that ABS input.

Pretty sure the only difference like someone else said is the end of the axles, or in the hubs there is what you call the "tone ring" or "reference ring" So if your using your old axles and hubs then won't be able to tell a difference between the two.
