Thanks man, I have a hate love relationship with this truck lol.

 

Took the driveshaft off and took it to get rebuilt, the length is correct it's just beat to hell. I also stopped by Kartek to pick up my PCI 4 helmet Parker Pump

 

Did you get you oops fixed.

 

Yeah just off road maintaince, replacing all u joints, carrier bearing and a balancing. Nothing serious, just $336

I thought RJ took better care of this truck with all his pictures of the truck on the lift. I guess all he did was tighten bolts and lube lol

Sucks you have to do all of these delayed maintenance items neglected from the truck.

 

No but i will once I rewrap the truck in full graphics, for sure by the end of the year.

Really does suck but that's my fault, I didn't even inspect the truck. Now ill know what to look for when I buy the next truck

 

Got my driveshaft from JE Reel this morning and it's already installed, time for a test drive!

 

Let's keep in mind that the truck has over 110k+ miles, who knows how many miles Jon has put on it. Definitely not an item of "neglect" maintenance is maintenance.

Not bad mouthing but I put less than 1,942 miles in about 10 weeks. I have about an hour of off road time but that's not in the desert, just a commercial dirt lot. This isn't my daily driver and just a shop truck/toy. A lot more needs to be done but i agree with you maintenance is maintenance.

 

Wired up my LED mirrors and going to wire up my LED bar plus cubes today.

 

Just finished the plumbing for the race air system. All I have to do now is fab a tube to my frame to mount the blower

 

Are these OEM or aftermarket? Nice truck BTW!

After a tuning the bypasses and weld repairs on the cab cage, truck is running so much better and not as much noise pollution. I'm sure we'll see each other sooner or later.

I bought them from a local supplier that I have an account with. I think it was $240 delivered to my shop same day. If your local I can get them for you.

Well it's not needed for a non-race truck but since I have a cage. It's more dangerous to not wear a helmet. Normally you wouldn't have Windows, so it's important to be comfortable while wearing a hot arse helmet. Since I choose to wear a helmet, I want to be cool and comfortable. Most people ride with their windows up and I always ride with them down. I hope I was able to answer your question

 

The reason I ask is I bought similar ones from Rock Auto and I have noticed a whistle coming from them ranging in speeds from 40-70. If yours do not whistle I would definitely be interested. Thanks.
