I'll just be over here on my DRZ, murdering trails with my 17 year old technology, that evidently weighs to much for trails, and is apparently for old people.

Woods bike is all this will be used for with the occasional Brap to work or to the hills.
If I drove more on the street and liked forest service roads and some adventures then a DRZ would be sweet. But still, at that point I'd rather buy a KTM XCF 350 4 stroke

Ok I know this is going to be a dumb question but do you ever worry about the front bumper coming loose? I know they're just held on by nuts is why I ask.

Well thats Chris so....most people can wheelie better than Chris.

 

I've never had the nuts on my pelfrey bumper really loosen up. I check every oil change and they have always been good.

Always good to double check every thing least when you do oil changes and when going on a big trip. I don't always beck for the day runs but anytime it's a whole weekend I'll quickly check everything including fluids and torques. Doesn't take long at all

 

Lol yeah it comes loose often. I check it all the time. It wobbles like crazy. Pisses me off. I think it's because I bent back the stupid mount tab thingys that hang down on my first trip out.

 

Need help.
So a few months back I kept getting a pending P0456 everytime I started my truck. And about once a week the check engine would be on. Well I bought a new OEM gas cap and it really seemed to press against it harder and seal it off. Never had issues for like 3 months and now as of a few days ago it keeps coming on and I've already got a check engine.
Thoughts? And yes I've tightened it multiple times. 3 clicks.

 

Could there be a leak down lower on the filler neck?

 

I don't see how that could have happened. It's really weird because the new cap totally fixed my problem. Not even a peep of a pending code. That's why I bought OEM too so it would last...

 

Then why is the check engine light still on?

 

Me don't know! 3 months it was fine and now all of the sudden it keeps coming back. Right after the last time I filled up too...

 

Did you top off too much?

 

Never top off... The little bing everytime I start up is making me want to strangle it!!

 

Speaking of my UG... it's going to be removed from the windshield for a short time for something.... he he hehe

 

So you claim the new cap solved the problem, yet it still throws the same code....that sounds like a problem to me.

Solved it for 3 months and now the code is back. Probably the cap
