Yeah , I'm going to move to Festool probably this year , waiting till I get their 6" random orbit sander

 

I've got a list of their stuff. Big tracksaw, and sanders.

I hooked my dewalt ros sander to the ct and it was so much better to use

 

Yeah , even just rigging up my Ridgid allowed me to use my biscuit joiner and palm sander inside a finished house

 

Anyone want the help carry drywall into my basement???

I like the ergonomics better than the other style.

I want to hug whoever created this lighter weight drywall. That and I haven't touched a sheet of 1/2 in a year.

 

Depends on the brand but my drywall contractor hates it

 

It cuts different and doesn't flex as much. I get the same thing from my guy who's done drywall since the 70s .

 

My contractor has had issues with butt joint seams lifting because the paper hasn't bonded correctly to the gypsum near the ends where it is sheared to length

 

I haven't had that happen. Did try some lighter weight mud and hated it
