I don't remember which e-locker skid I got, but it did hit my gas tank skid (stock with 3/16" welded to it) on my first gen.

 

Thanks @iJonny and @RPS1030 I'm more concerned with heavy sticks or loose rocks that may hit the e locker. From what I understand the diff itself is pretty Damn solid. I recently changed my diff fluid with redline so I don't really want to have to change that out again. That bash plate does look stout as f**k though! Anyone tried the bolt on versions like the BAMF or Boztec?

 

Good question. I haven't checked full stuff clearance of it yet. Will do tonight and let you know.

 

This topic was discussed in MTBS. As far as diff diapers goes this is the one to have. The rear of the diff is actually very thin.
The plug is also a spot that can get shredded crawling. A few guys replaced the plug with that allpro one and welded a piece of steel under the diff that was lower than the plug. Almost like a mini slider.

 

For the hard water, buy a charcoal filtered shower head. It helped me out pretty good.
