What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

I highly recommend ham test online. Used it to study and just got my technician license last monday.

 

You could have just bought the relay that takes like 2 minutes to install and replaces the old blinker relay lol.

 

@TacoVio I wasn't sure which flasher to buy. The OEM blades are unlabeled so it's hard to tell whether it is a BLE or an ELB.

 

You just needed an ep35 relay.

Yeah what @cynicalrider said! EP-35. That's what I used for mine. It's like $13 or something!

 

considering the outcome is the same, spending $0 and cutting a trace on a PCB > spending $12 on a new relay.

I have a 95 with cruise control I removed the cat converter because it was bad and added a straight pipe. Could the cruise control have a bad fuse that would stop it from working?

 

Yes. Those are the white/amber switchbacks.

 

I actually like my hyper blinker.

 

I replaced my inner CV boot clamps (small end in middle of CV) with hose clamps because my CV's were leaking some grease. Do you think they can cause a front end vibration? I don't drive my 4runner (same front end as Tacoma's) much and didn't remember there being so much vibration before.

 

Any luck yet? Can't stop thinking about these stupid coilovers.

I was debating a lot about what size I should get but I went with 285/75/16s because of towing a boat more often. I wanted to go for the 315s but couldn't justify it

 

Which tires are those?

 

Nice! I'm thinking of going 33/12.5/15. I noticed that they run a bit smaller than other brands so I'm hoping it'll make for a little less trimming.
