Yikes maybe heat will help. Sounds like you can't get a break. You may need an impact to get the CV nut off once the wheel is removed.

 

yeah i'd try taking a torch to it and see if that helps

 

Ya I heated it up many times Sunday still didn't break free. I think the 1/2" drive breaker bar is too thin. Like I said before I was bending the damn breaker bar into a semi circle with the hi lift handle on the end of it.

 

Iv driven through NJ numerous times and didn't care for it. Saw a girl in a jets jersey peeing out the window Rat Race style in gridlock traffic once. That pretty much sums up my opinion of the entire state.

Can't imagine actually staying there.

i have to be there about one week each month for work. i've learned where some nice areas are, but you still have to drive in and out of it...which is a struggle in itself:

Sounds like you will end up splitting the nut and replacing the stud. At least if you have to it is 6 lug so you can go without one for a bit.

You can borrow my impact if you want. I have to work thurs,fri,sat,sun . You just need to drive to my work and pick it up .

 

Didn't think you could replace the stud. I think if I get an impact more powerful than my cordless craftsman or a breaker bar that doesn't bend like a wet noodle I think I should be able to get it.

 

Seth I can bring over both my corded impact and my cordless impact guns, although the cordless is stronger. I'll bring my breaker bars as well

I had 255/80/17. I wanted to make the leap to 35x12.5x17 but it's not realistic at this point in the game.
