Just installed another great piece of work. Just like the bed light kit, the hood light kit was easy to install and came with everything I needed. It took me an hour to install (I have minimal knowledge of how wiring really works other than there needing to be a closed circuit for it to work). I had a little confusion about the wiring but Dane helped out as soon as I messaged him. It looks great and I know it'll be very useful when I start working on the engine of my 4banger. Thanks again Dane!

I have been lurking around checking to see what's new on TW. I do want hood kit. I'm curious if your hood kit comes with the option of a manual switch? you know a switch that you switch it on only when you need lights instead of one that comes on when you open the hood? Thnaks for any info.

 

Yes I provide a round rocker switch with a switch mount and the hardware needed to mount.

Got my rock lights the other day. Super excited to get it installed. That is after I clean the salt and sand off the truck so they can stick.

So if your have your dome light in the "off" position...the rocker panel light will not turn on right?sometimes I need to be incognito.
