Haha yeah man pretty stoked, like I said, all I gotta do now is buy extended axles. Spoke to mademan925 and he said that those axles are a PAIN to switch out. Not looking forward to it but it'll be worth it once it's done

@dakotasyota and I did his in about 4-5 hours I think? First one took 3 hours and the second took soooo much shorter. Once you figure out how to get it apart (bang the shit out of it, as hard as you possibly can) then its easy. We used this vid https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5bTJRzrv4iA

Dang, 3100 in 3rd gear over the pass? I usually run 4th at about 2600-2800 maintaining 65-70.

Meh, I did that a few weekends ago with 32s, ARB bumper w/winch and sliders and rear road armor bumper(don't bash). Me and the ole lady in the truck and my Shasta on the back but below cab height. You might have another couple hundred pounds. Do you have skids? A ton is 2000lbs BTW. :) I used to run a scale so weight comes second nature to me. My truck weighs 4880 on the nose with no occupancy and sans RTT.

I know. It just cracks me up when people say "a ton of this" or "a ton of that" when a ton is actually A LOT.

Full steel skids, 1/4" rear steel bumper that weighs at least 150lbs alone, then add tire swing out, full size spare, gas, high lift. Last time I went over the pass I had my canopy and drawers in the back, 175lb RTT up top too. 3/4 length bed drawers made from 3/4" plywood and I always kept tools/recovery gear in them. Plus 33's make a big impact on power. Then add in what ever gear I take with me

I thought you were on 265's still?

No I did not mean literal ton lol
