Agreed. 35% does nothing when talking matching. 20% front will be about as close as you'll get.

Ystr: Just curious, how long ago did the dealership tell you the day it would be in. The dealership I ordered from told me in about mid January it would be "about 33 days" before arriving. I keep asking for a VIN. They keep saying they don't have the VIN and don't exactly know when it will be in (again, that was in mid-Jan). Ordered Nov. 7.

My wedding ^_^ my dealership had the exact one I wanted. I found the one I wanted and then found the dealership

 

Added 35% tint all around and UV tint on the windshield.

 

My friend owns tint shop, I got tint next day after got my truck. We tried 20% and it look way darker than rear windows, so I went with next shade witch was 35% they matched almost perfect maybe just little lighter. I asume different drands would have variations on shade, color and tint % he used express window tint on mine.

 

Do you know if the rear windows are tinted factory or is the glass itself dark?

 

They are dark, no film. I think they use some kind of metal/chemistry to factory tint rear windows.

Weird. I did 15% up front and it almost matches exact.

 

Had the front 2 windows tinted to match the factory rear Added 35% tint with UV block
also had a layer of tint added to the sunroof with UV block

 

Just wanted to share a tip. When I see another member and I like what they have added on to their Tacoma I bookmark the page. You can change the name of the bookmark for example you could rename it "Towball" or "Led lights" etc. Currently there is 351 pages in this thread and it can take forever trying to find a modification that you liked.

 

have you filmed with the camera that low and reviewed the video? You won't be able to see much in front of the truck. It needs to be as high as possible

 

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this, but why is the front of your truck higher than the rear? I can't imagine what it would look like with weight in the bed.

 

looks like a cheap spacer lift or he only did front 5100s or maybe front heavier springs. or he's a bro and he wants that look
