Never heard of a SOS shackle flip, ATO was one of the only name brands I remember making them. The bamf shock relocate hardly seems worth the money, if you can weld just make the towers yourself. You'll get a couple inches out of the rear (that's what she said?) Once you do the flip the shocks will be over extended at full droop unless you buy longer ones. And if you buy longer ones without extending the bump stops on stock shock mounts you'll bottom out the shocks and destroy them. So you will get some gains with a shackle flip with stock shocks but the major bang for the buck would be to do those two at the same time, otherwise your essentially offsetting the length of where the shock gets utilized (if that makes any sense)

http://www.sos-offroadconcepts.com/misc-items.html I think I'll go with the flip kit and shocks for now. The relocate is alittle more work

I think I'm gonna brace it from the bottom by either hot gluing another piece of plastic or using a lot layers of duct tape, and then fill the crack on the top with the superglue and baking powder so I can sand it smooth

ah ok. I'd say the relocate kit is less work but that's just me LOL. Those rivets are a bitch to remove.

What scares me with the bamf kit is.... I can weld not great but I can. With a stick welder. That's all I got. But the towers don't bother me. What scares me is grinding off and welding on the axle tube. Plus on their site the gap between the shock and tire is tiny haha Idk I need a locker first. But maybe about July in I'll start gathering stuff and try to get it all set up.

I've kicked around taking my truck in for them to look at but my frame is in good shape. Plus idk what they'd say about the extra holes I've drilled and the stuff I've cut and welded on the frame. Plus if I'd get a new frame that'd be a lot of work to put everything back on. Although having the sketchy motor mounts that the old frames had worries me a little.

Well I just traded in my pre runner in for this one and before I took delivery they replaced the frame, both front wheel bearings, brake lines, and rear leaf springs to the 4 pack TSB ones. I'd be much more hesitant if swapping would require all the extra work as yours does.

Yeah I just fluid film the frame heavily every fall. I keep an eye on it too. So hopefully I don't get any surprises.

As much as it had sucked cutting off my newly welded on front crossmember, my sliders, and cutting all my electrical connections to my accessories I had running to the bed, not to mention knowing I won't have my truck for another 3-4 months, it will be nice knowing I will have a pretty much brand new truck that I won't have to worry about as long as I keep up on everything else.

Demello has great looking bumpers. I went with Pelfreybilt but Demello would be my second choice. No reason other than I've been talking to Satin for 3 years trying to get a bumper finally got to pull the trigger this year.

The dealer got the truck as s trade in in June of 2015, ordered the frame then. They started on it Monday 2/8 and finished 2/10! Glad I didn't actually do any waiting, but it looks like brand new underneath!
