    Turns out, I was a bit tentative to drill holes in the perfectly good roof.

    Fiberglass smells weird when you drill though it.

    Snorkel installed this week. Along with new wheels at long last. I hope to begin my bedslide project tomorrow...

    Wheels are ProComp alloy soft 8, 16x8 with 4" bs / -12mm offset.

    So what snorkel did you end up putting on? Doesn't look like the safari snorkels for 1st gens, did you do a custom fitment of a newer tacoma snorkel?

    Off-brand hilux 167 snorkel...bought for cheap on Amazon, fits pretty good, not perfect, but good enough.

    Ha, yeah... Much of that is the method of attachment I'm going to have to use on this bumper, I'm not all too excited about it, but I figured if I'm doing this, I might as well go overkill and dual sheer the shit out of things.

    You'll probably be all right if it's just for your own use, but I don't think you could market that hardware as Escher holds the patent.
