Does it make noise from wind when you're going down the highway? I've heard that some do

Not gonna lie to you. It does. It whistles.
I drown it out it out with music though. Anything at volume 10sh and you can't hear it anymore. There are these strips I can put on it to make the whistling stop (like $10 at Home Depot) but I just haven't gotten around to it yet

Above is nice but you do also get a little bit of to much light bouncing off your hood. So also keep that in mind. I guess I just gotta tilt it up. Haven't thought about that till just now lol
And if you have it lower on the grill wouldn't it only shine down. You wouldn't see the things higher up?? (That's a question not a statement lol) I plan on adding a couple pod cubes next to the winch once I buy it.

Damn...haha that's so helpful, I didn't even consider those two things...this just got more difficult. But if you tilt it up won't it be aimed too high and be pointless other than searching tree tops? (that's not supposed to sound dickish if it does I'm sorry lol)

Well how else would I find Bigfoot? He does live up in the trees doesn't he? Lol
Not dickish at all. It's gonna be one of those things where I have to sit there and play with it one night until I'm happy with where it shines (have had it up there for a year and haven't thought of this. So embarrassed lol)
Either way it will end up being your decision. Could always go both. Like I said I want to add the pods/cubes down with the winch one on each side. Just gotta buy that first. I have a 50" radius (curved) light bar on my 2013. Bought it off eBay for like $160 the way I see it I can replace this one 7 times and still not have spent what I would on a fancy rigid one.
I also recommend you get some yellow covers for it. Helps a lot in the snow being able to not have all the white reflecting back at you.

EDIT: and that's another thing. In the fog I wish the light bar was lower. But in the snow I'm happy it's up higher...

    :annoyed: Now I Need both!
$160 isn't bad, unfortunately I'm still gonna have to wait awhile before I decide anything, (my wallet hates me right nowbut then again you can never have too much light
