image.jpg Finally, 47 days since ordering on 12/23. So far I love it!
This is replacing an almost 20 year old very similar Ranger. I expect to keep this at least the same amount of time.
    3.5L, auto, tow package.

Can you post the link to where we can lookup the info on the build? I'm assuming we use the temporary VIN they gave me?

I just went and did an inventory search on the Toyota website. My car is fairly much a unicorn so it wasn't hard to find. Narrowed the results by color, manual, DC etc and then scrolled down.

FINALLY GOT IT! Lots of work now to get it to how I envision it…tonneau cover (no clue which one), black bed decals, dip all badges and grill, and skid plate (remove air dam).

Looking good, though I'm a little upset that you may have beat me to the first inferno in Calgary (I haven't seen one yet). Mine's supposed to be in first thing next week.

Funny thing...I saw my first yesterday. Where are you buying? Are you getting a tonneau cover put on? I'm struggling finding a quality one under $1200CAD that fits properly.

Well dammit, somebody beat us both. Mine's coming in through Stampede Toyota.

I've also been hunting for tonneaus, I just want one of the cheap fabric roll ones, been looking at a Truxedo Lo Pro QT, but have been informed they don't make one yet for the '16. Could have sworn I've seen people on here with them though. Seem to be around $650 CAD if you install yourself.

Yeah, I'm needing a solid tri-fold, but does not need to be 100% waterproof.
Now to sneak into my works underground parking over the long weekend to do some dipping and decal changes ha!

I've already got the cans of dip waiting and a set of Duratracs sitting in the garage. The waiting is killing me.

Well dealer thought it would be in yesterday, called and no sign of it. Was suppose to be in by today (2-6 - 2-10) called dealer the paper now says 2-6 to 2-12. I'm really hoping it doesn't get extended any more. My luck the truck carrier dropped it off at wrong dealer and they sold it same day.

Dip? Did I miss that? Only been here a short time, trying to digest sliders, DCSB, text wording, etc. :) I'm a rotary phone sort of guy.

The wait for delivery is over. Now waiting on the financing paperwork to process, which I thought had been done last week. Surprise! They dropped it in the dirt on me. Hopefully that's the worst news I get and I'll pick it up tomorrow.

Plastidip is a completely removable rubber spray "paint" that a lot of people use to black out things like grills, badges, wheels etc...

Sales guy just called with another update. Truck will arrive at the dealer between 2/20 and 2/24. I have a 3 day weekend 2/26, 27 and 28 so this should work nicely. Now if only Monday's colonoscopy was over ughhh!
