I feel your struggle. This is mine I cannot make my mind up on.
T4R is teh awesome. But Tundra has the bed and space.

I thought about both and am still happy with my decision..mm but that's just my personal opinion.

 

Yea I was looking at your build page yesterday. The space on the Tundra is much more attractive. That and the bed ALWAYS comes in handy.

 

I say tundra.. if I could fit one in my garage I would probably get one. but... that being said.. My goal is to get Lyd into a 4runner.

 

Yeah i have the double cab and took myself and 4 passengers up north and no complaints on cab space. The crew max would be roomier

 

If I ever total the tacoma or have a great chance to trade in one day, I will be getting a Tundra for sure. Wife is already committed to the idea that her next car will be a 4RUNNER. Glad she made the decision easy for me.

 

Well I would like to switch out my wife's Honduh for the T4R. We used to have T4R's before the pilot. needed more space. but the Tundra can be the family wagon to fit the 5 of us.

true. if you can fit it.. or dont care about it sitting in the driveway or just the overall increase in size over the Taco.. go for the Tundra!

If I were to do a full size... it's have to be able to pull a 5th wheel. Tundra, 1500... not rated for it. Although some will do it, if anything ever went wrong, your fault or not, you would be liable.

For me, if I went bigger than the Taco, it's prob be the GMC 2500, but then it would need to be used cause all the custom pinstriping it would be getting due to it's width would kill me if it were new!

 

Gmc 1500 won't pull any more than a tundra??
