what size tire best for offroad

    Not yet. Gears are down the road when lockers are in the budget..for now, elocker and atrac are plenty for what I do

    I wouldn't recommend 20's then..for a couple reasons..

    Do you daily drive? I notice the lack of power getting to freeway speed. However, the 4runner is like 2000 pounds heavier too.

    One of my buddies is in the same boat. If you are doing dirt roads only, you can rock 20s. Most people on here do a little more technical stuff so they like having no larger than 17s. I would recommend staying stock size on 17s if possible but a more aggressive tire.

    Mine is too. I'm debating on keeping the 34s when I get new wheels. Maybe the lighter wheel will give it a bit more power.

    Hard to give up the Mud terrains.

    Debating on ever going Load E again..

    When my Tracs go, and I re-visit potentially 35's, I'll decide load and gearing size.

    I'm load E right now. They aren't awful. I definitely liked the load C AT II's I had better though.

    Absolutely, stock is almost always better. Bigger tires are sooooooo overrated.
