It should, through the years there were different heights for the radiators but they all should mount up just fine. Make sure if you have an auto tranny that it has a transmission cooler. I opted to get a TYC one from Amazon for $75, it doesn't have the tranny cooler (I have a manual) so it doesn't hang as low which is nice, the last time mine was replaced someone put one for an auto tranny in it. In a rare turn of events it seems TYC may be getting their radiators from another company to sell as their own as the one I got oozed quality, which caught me by surprise.

Damn... Your builds impressive, the floor looked pretty easy. Wish I was more mechanically inclined...

Wow. I'd never looked at your build thread until now. It's way beyond my experience/skill level, but I absolutely love seeing people put that much work (and love) into their vehicles. Kudos, m8.

Was it around what I thought? Like $140ish? Did you put deadener underneath? All I saw was it installed. Install looked really clean. Also how is it holding up?

 I should have scrolled up more. My biggest concern is if I do get vinyl and I submarine the truck, moisture will stay in the deadening/spot between the vinyl and metal and rust eventually.

I have... Not a great feeling but draining it is pretty easy, only had a little bit of water but still.

Usually it's never an issue going in water that deep, it's the getting stuck and losing momentum that will get the water in. It finally happened to me last summer unfortunately.

Same I lost momentum, first time ever shifting to 4low while still sorta moving. But it was an oh shit moment so I ground it till I found it.

So is the top hose on the radiator the hose that pushes coolant in or vise versa?

Yup, top hose is hot, bottom is cooled and ready to go back into engine. @TacoVio

Well that's what happened! I didn't let my truck warm up at all this morning (late to class) and I got on the highway at high rpms and the plastic just was cold and brittle and it couldn't handle the outlet of coolant and cracked right by top hose on the the front of the radiator!:anonymous::annoyed:

Got brittle from plasticizers leaching out over the years, then your heat shock this morning was the final blow. Had it happen to a Nissan Maxima last year. Plastics and their makup is fascinating to me. This likely wouldn't affect a new radiator as it hasn't leaached its plasticizers, meaning you could do what you did without consequences.

Makes perfect sense! I wish there was an aftermarket aluminum radiator or something!

There are some on eBay, but they are of dubious origin.

Ew! lol. Wouldn't trust that. I wish Mishimoto made one for the tacomas but they only make them for celicas, mr2, corolla, and supras!
