you can drive fine without it. it is recommended to use it to correct the angle should you haul something. so g'head and do the install and order the bracket and put it on later.

I got a "blem" from BAMF (http://www.bayareametalfab.com/Standard-BPV-Bracket-35-14-plate_p_19.html) and added the PC so was about $26 shipped to my door. only took a couple of days too since it was in stock.

Yeah, don't stress it unless you're planning on wheeling and flexing. Your suspension can now travel farther than the oem parts can- so you can break/tear your oem brake line. I know it's hard, but refrain from flexing out your new setup until you install the bpv. Hell, I've seen diy ones that cost under a buck work fine.

Looks great! Toss two sandbags back there, and they'll settle in no time.

I'd do new coils- you'll love the ride. If you don't now, you'll probably want to soon, and you might as well do it all 1 time. I can't say exactly how much it will settle, because my application is very different: aal + 800-900lb camper permanently in the back. Haven't taken it off since I got it to see a base leveling to measure.

Solid. I started with 881s when I had a stock bumper, but when I built my CBI, I upgraded to 883s. Another difference, I've got OME Nitrocharger Sport shocks, not billies.

You'll be stoked on the ride man. Night and day difference from stock. Post pics when you get em installed!

Look up "Taco Lean" to decide. I've got it, but it doesn't bother me

Yes, do it now. Battery, driver, and gas tank all on driver side. Watch your rear brake lines. Did you get an extended line? The stock on can max out and be strained at full droop. Also, get that BPV bracket on ASAP. Otherwise, the brake system will send more pressure to the fronts, which will wear them out much more quickly and could potentially lead to warped rotors because they are doing all the stopping work.

    These are Dakars.

BPV bracket and extended brake line (hard to see, but it is red and up above the left side of axle).

trim packer goes at the bottom of the coil seat (see gold ring), so it is a PITA to add later; you'd have to remove and disassemble the entire coilover.

tyvm for that info hope they installed it correctly as they just called and let me know they got it done, i got the brake line done and have the bamf bpv just yet to install it yet but will this weekend, just a little sad now as i was informed that they cant align it as that inner tie rod is to bad to do so and they want a lot to fix it.. almost $200 just to r&r it, dont seem right to me.. i wont be driving it only about 2 miles to get home and back to the shop across the street to do it instead. they offer lifetime alignments for $40 more and labor a little cheaper also.. so have to wait to order some more parts i guess, will post picture of it in just a little while.. thanks again...

I'll have to get a better photo later on as I have to run to work but the front end lifted almost 4 inches compared to before and I'm a little scared as it sits at 39.75" and before was like 36" . I sure hope it settles later on.....

Does it matter if he put that trim plate on the top of the strut?
