Motor swap should come before SAS tho IMHO. Would suck to have to build or find a custom oil pan because of links in the way or to find out youd have to redo your whole suspension setup to fit the engine. Just a thought.

That's the spirit! That's where I'm at with mine. Of course, ridiculous offers in my favor could warrant consideration. I might trade it for a nice 2nd home somewhere out away from stuff where I could moan about missing the truck without pissing off the neighbors. I still miss the 82 but I go out of town to moan about it or silently post about missing it on a forum instead, lol. Modding the 08 keeps my mind off of it.

good point, but id drop in an LS to take it to the drag strip... so i would avoid 4wd all together. IF it was me doing the swap.

So this was bothering me that I didn't realize I had 2 cup holders in each door. Wow, learned something new about my truck today! I'll take pictures tonight.

What's your intended use of the cap again? Just storage or to secure an rtt of some sort?

Dual purpose. Keep all my gear and bikes in and out of sight while driving, sleeping in off truck trails and at the head of hiking trails during my PNW and Alaska trek.

I don't but you could use one. I want an ultra light cot for it but don't want to spend the $$$ on something thats not a big deal for me.
