    Poop.
My 2004 which I gave to my kid is still going strong.
New 2009 I bought in the spring 6000 miles...
Has some minor problems; demon possessed radio turns itself on and off with no display, squeaky clutch pedal. I can live with that.
This morning the clutch started slipping bad. I've caught the odor of burning clutch from time to time and thought nothing of it, but now it's quite apparent I've got a serious problem.
    4 cyl. PreRunner, anyone else?

I was actually looking for a low mileage gen1 before i bought my '09. I heard everywhere that the 1st gen's were practically indestructible. Anyhow my '09 has been great but I did get it in an auto. Luckily so as i've been hearing constant complaints about the stick in the new gen. G'luck i hope everything works out for you. It always sucks when you go from a reliable vehicle to one that has "quirks"
