Doubtful. It was most likely because Wes was running some fairly worn down tires, versus my lightly worn Swampers.

In all honesty, I didn't yank on you that hard. Hell, that was just a tentative bump to see where the strap was going to pull tight. I didn't expect you to come out on that attempt. I had already backed off the throttle when I noticed you were loose and had to lay back into it you pull you the rest of the way out. But, yeah, I was prepared to snatch you a lot harder if necessary.

Do it, Wes! It has a DB in front so it's halfway there to an SAS. A lot less crap to cut out. :D

    I can't tell you that. :D

But hey, it's not anything that can't be removed or that you wouldn't be removing for an SAS anyway. The biggest thing is the lack of transfer case, so you'd have to either get a whole 4WD transmission/transfer case or run a divorced transfer case.

Haha, it's like I said in the Youtube comments, The OGT and Squeaky have an established relationship. Squeaky gets firmly stuck and won't let another truck but the OGT pull her out. It happened at Richloam too. :D

wes, how soon were you thinking about doing SAS, does that mean you're gonna be selling your IFS and transfer case? if I find someone ;) ;) to do the labor reasonably for me (of course paid, not free) I'd be interested in your 4wd parts

Dude you're better off getting a 4 wheel drive unless you're mechanically inclined and/or have fab experience. Otherwise, you're in way over your head.

yea... I'm not all that mechanically inclined with no fab experience, i've read of a few people spending about 1500 in parts and doing their own labor, i'm willing to spend like 2-3K if I can find someone to do the labor, the difference between my truck and a 4wd truck is prob about 6K, plus a lot of hassle taking out all the stuff i've already done....

After I got back from citrus my fiancé was somewhat in shock after watching @Black Horse videos and hinted at me getting a beater instead of taking my 3rd gen out. Apparently after I pay for our wedding I've got the green light. Which would be awesome to find an older model like @Alfuh's. Being a body/paint guy, it would be cool to somewhat restore something like that.

You don't want to restore a beater truck that defeats the purpose of a beater
