@Acerwin Thanks brother..!! Took for ever to get them. I think December 20th I placed the order and got them on January 7th.

 

Interested to hear some specific ride differences from your OME coilovers...

 

HUGE difference in on road ride quality. @Wasatch I haven't played to much with the CDC Valve, just have it in Soft as per ICON's recommendation. But woops, bumps, dips and highway joints aren't felt at all. The old, Old man Emu 1997 strut and coil combo was horrible in these situations. I would feel every thing, not to mention the "CLANK" going over speed bumps faster than -2 mph. I haven't hit the trail yet, and are still playing with the height, I also got the 700# coils so the shock setting may stay on SOFT.

 

Coming to gulches with a lot more FL people?

Got me some new Wheels & Tires..!! I couldn't be happier, thanks to @JdMeF9SiR2 over at FN Wheels for all the help and the perfect color recommendation.

I measured the old 34" KO2's v.s. these new 285" KO2's and they were a hair taller about 1/2" could this be correct..?

I also now rub a tad on the pass side lower fender flare, need to see if my tech can dial in a tad bit more Caster. I guess this due to the offset of the new wheels..?

As many have read and done extensive research the Toyota Clam-Shell Needle Bearing is a weak and annoying problem on most 4WD Toyota's.

The guy's over at East Coast Gear Supply (ECGS) have created a solution with a solid bushing.
This bushing replaced the needle bearing and drastically eliminates the play and shimming on the drivers side.

Toyota has a TSB for this problem, they replace the old bearing with a "Better" needle bearing.... I was lucky enough to get my buddy, a tech at Toyota to put in the solid ECGS bushing instead of the NEW TSB Needle Bearing here are the pictures taken the day of the install.

LOL..!! Yes, it did no more play and almost "Zero" vibrations at high speed. I think one of my BFG's has a slight high spot but it should get a bit beetr with a few air downs and miles. Will see... @ChandlerDOOM

 

Yeah I need to balance my tires for sure, been wanting to try some balancing beads

 

@ChandlerDOOM Get them Road Force Balanced, I'm sure you've heard of this type of balancing before...? This will help locate any high spots and also the machine will tell the tech where to place each tire on the truck.

 

Yeah I've tried it a couple times, the issue is the weights eventually come off. And the amount of weights it took was no joke

 

Yeah..!! @ChandlerDOOM had the same problem with my old 255/85 BFG KM2's later on BFG found that the tires were at fault, BFG ended up swapping out all 4 units. I have never used the beads, keep me posted I really like that idea. Just don't know how good they are...
