The corners could be adjusted up slightly but the lines down both sides are even. Honestly I think my core support needs to be shifted about an 1/8" towards the driver side to line things up proper.

They are more like UCA bolt gussets vs tower gussets. True tower support comes from a tower to tower cross brace.

New passenger inner fender and apron, new core support, new lower oil pan and crank seal. New Passenger headlight and the new fenders.

Honestly i wouldn't do them again. Total Chaos' own "Morocco Taco", the truck they race all over the African desert doesnt have the tower gussets. It has spindle gussets, cam tab gussets, and their second shock kit(bypass mount) and that's it. It was a PIA to install and it keeps me from running race headers. I got and installed them before meeting the TC crew and owners at the FJ Summit last year and we talked about them after i saw their race truck didnt have the gussets installed. So no, i wouldnt bother If i were you, the spindle and cam tab gussets are a must though. Thanks to @iJonny for answering also. He's usually pretty on point. lol

Often under moderate to hard use. Both items are cheap insurance from an annoyance (cam tabs blowing out and ruining alignment) to catastrophic (bending a spindle and being trailered to a dealership/shop for replacement) failure.

OBA is so underrated in my opinion.. I have been fine without spindle gussets but need cam tabs since my truck has been aligned so many times the tabs are weak.

Got the truck back after spending over two months at a local body shop and the Toyota service department. Time to start wrenching and wheelin' again!

McNeil Racing +2 Rise and +2 Flare front fiberglass turned out pretty good, not perfect but liveable. Pretty freakin sick honestly and the extra coverage is awesome so far.

    I love this view.

Within an hour of getting Samantha home i had the new MBRP exhaust on. It tucks up much higher than the factory exhaust so i dont see myself hitting it like i did before. Sounds good with a bit of rasp at >75% throttle, I attribute that the the fact i am also running the URD y-pipe. I also have a weird rattle at off idle that i think is a heat shield that needs to be removed.

Painted the new Front Range Off Road E-locker skid i picked up on their GB recently, cheap insurance for an expensive part. I should get it on tomorrow.

Yanked the RCI Metalworks sliders to be replaced by the Relentless HD units i ordered last Memorial Day and just took delivery of about a week ago! I like the aesthetics of the RCI shape and filler plates more than the Relentless Fab sliders but the mounting and construction of the RF sliders will hold up better under my truck with being DOM and having a more robust mounting design. As you can see from the underside of both sliders that they saw lots for abuse from July '15 - November '15 when the truck got parked for the busted oil pan and core support. They are heavily gouged and both are dented from hard hits.

New tires go on this Tuesday. Same height just a touch narrower for clearance issues and weight savings.

How do you like those tires over KM2's? Not sure if you've ever had MTR's before but it's between those two and what you're currently running for my next set. Yours are growing on me, and I know you'll give an honest opinion.

Brian has a valid point in the fact that OBA is often overlooked and highly underrated. It is a hassle to wait on slow compressors or to have to bum one from a friend. I would get a compressor that will hold it's own, cam tab gussets, and a strap right now if that's all that is currently in the cards. Build from there and have fun. Learning your truck and how to drive it will help in the mean time.

Yes, this list. Or if you don't plan on lockers any time soon check into CO2. Much faster, cheaper, and no wires to get tangled up. A 5lb CO2 tank will fill up about 20 tires IIRC but a lot of people go for a 10lb tank. @PcBuilder14 runs it if you have any questions. I used to before needing a compressor for lockers

I am a pretty vocal hater of the KM2. I think they are mediocre at best in most terrains. Excelling in none.
On that note, i love my STT Pros, I just ordered another set last week to replace the current set because i sold the 305s to a friend for his JK. I ordered the new Coopers in 285s this time because they are the exact same height, an inch narrower (helps on the LT front end) and 4lbs lighter each. Funny thing is it was a toss up with the 285 MTR Kevlars, I ended up going with the Coopers again because they hooked up awesome for me last year all over the trails of Colorado, Utah, and New Mexico. They do great on the street whether the pavement is wet or dry. They also balanced remarkably well. They are pretty loud but that hasn't bothered me since i was much younger running Super Swampers. You really cant go wrong with the STT Pro or the MTR Kevlar. The MTR is advertised as being a 33.1 vs 33.0 for the STT Pro. The Goodyear runs about $35 more a tire also. Its a tough choice but neither is an incorrect solution.

Exactly the kind of review I expect from you

I personally love my KM2's... But, I definitely want to try something new this next go-around. I still have quite a bit of tread left on the KM2's with only ~20,000 miles on them. So who knows when the time will come for 35's ;)

But it definitely sounds like the STT Pro's might be my next tire.

I too am a vocal KM2 hater. I'm also starting to have issues with my chunking especially up front.

My girlfriend took this today, an awesome photo by itself but the armor'd Tacoma in the background warrants the post here.
