So what? My AFM (the prehistoric predecessor to the MAF) has been busted for years. Doesn't limp my engine at all. It trips a trouble code but doesn't even turn on any idiot lights.

And his MAF is dead because some wires got cooked. Throwing a new one in may not solve the issue.

I'd say they're very scary when you have a problem. I've narrowed down an issue in my Firebird to being electronic related. So now I have to tear apart my whole dash and all that to trace 1 stupid wire. Another fine example is my step dads jag. You give it any electricity and the thing freaks out. Lights go on and off. Wipers start going. Alarm trips. Doors lock and unlock. It's like the thing is haunted. It's going to be a pretty penny to get fixed

Scion should have never existed. The frs will be the ft86 as it always should have been.
The prius keeps the numbers up man...

My buddies 5.0l v8 gets 20mpg mix of city highway. That is so much better than the tundra...

You can't compare British electronics to Toyota electronics. Lol

    Let's agree to disagree? Haha

I love the Sandstone(?)...their tan colored 4Runner. Looks amazing.

I completely agree with you on the FRS...should have always been an Toyota.

True, they are willing but that's because they realize their stake in those markets is worth it. Toyota is too blind to realize that they have one of the last 2 BOF SUV's and that it is a potential goldmine. They give that up and they will be screwed
Aww hell no. If Toyota becomes Subaru I will no longer support them. I'll still like the old stuff but not the new stuff. I already dislike the whole FRS/BRZ/GT86 thing enough as it is. I don't want more combining with those two.

As far as Scion is conscerned that's not surprising since Scion is Toyota. Same with Lexus. I'd only be concerned if the main 4 start combining, that being Toyota, Subaru, Nissan, and Honda. All the other brands are sub brands really. The only other one I can think of that isn't is Hyundai but i think they might be Korean?

I think it is the best 4Runner color...but I like the Flat Dark Earth color on guns.

The new T4R's aren't selling well. They were willing to mark down the 2016 to me for 500 over invoice...
That is true. I saw something about it possibly being raised to 54.5 MPG in 2017 though.
I like the front end... :argue:

I don't think Toyota would become Subbie honestly. Subaru's are known for the AWD cars and the only non AWD car they have is the BRZ, I don't think they would venture to far from that.

You are correct the Hyundai/Kia brand are Korean and owned by the same company now.

I will agree that British electronics are crap. I watched a mechanic spend an hour trying to get the hatch on a Land Rover to open. I think the issue was blown fuse?

I just dislike a lot of electronics on a car. It takes away from the car, adds weight, and makes it a pain in the ass sometimes. One minute everything's good than the next thing you know you can't close your hatch on the trail. @dtaco06 knows what I'm talking about

This is when you remove the hatch.

Oh god that is ridiculously high. I don't think any company can match that except for Tesla lol
Yeah that's my thinking too, and I hope it stays that way. The only good thing that might come out of that is Subaru keeps the 4runner going since they like off-roading but that's unlikely and if they did, I'm scared to think of what they would do to it. They focus too much on the WRX for them to be concerned with the 4runner too much

I don't know why everyone is so divided on the face lifted front end. Personally I love it. It looks so cool and aggressive. Makes me actually want one even though I hate the electronics of modern cars as I was just saying haha

    I think it looks mean.

Almost makes me not want to put an armored bumper on it. I'm waiting to see what @RelentlessFab comes up with.
