no but it helped my friend before. He filed it and his insurance and the 3rd party (forget the term for it) laughed and then awarded him the "win"

I've been handling bodily injury claims for 10 years. I can assure you, filing the injury claim or not doesn't make one less at fault or more at fault. They are two separate issues. If they denied your friend's claim and he sued the other driver and won, great for him. But if he wasn't injured, he could have sued for property damage alone and the outcome regarding liability would have been the same.

Thanks fellas, im fine... A few rug burn type marks from the airbags but thats about it.

If its totaled ill be getting another 16 tacoma, another of the same grille too.... Hopefully this time it'll be the V6 with alloy wheels... If they fix it, ill still be re-doing the grille. This one will be going back to CCG who made it.

As far as the insurance goes, she can say whatever she'd like really, but the report puts her directly at fault of the damage to all 3 trucks (there was 3 trucks involved, a 2008 colorado (at fault) And a parked 2000 dodge ram2500, she hit this truck after running in front of me.

We all have Progressive insurance too so hopefully that helps speed it up. Anything is possible but hopefully its a relatively painless process.

Sorry to see your truck @Gettin Lost like that, glad no one was hurt.

My SR5 left Mexico on 1-26 made it all the way to Chicago on rail line on 2-3. Was suppose to be delivered to dealer by truck(southern Indiana) between 2-6 and 2-10. On 2-10 I'm told it was push back a couple days. Between 2-10 and 2-12. On 2-12 I'm now told push back again between 2-13 and 2-16. I'm beginning to think tacoma's are a mythological creature, and you guy just pass around pictures of the same truck, but with a lot of Photoshop.

Bingo! You said the magic word CHICAGO! In the rail industry its a total cluster F*** and most likely your SR5 is sitting at railroad A at their rail yard in Chicago waiting to be handed off to railroad B that will eventually get it to railroad C and finally to their rail yard near you. Patience Grasshopper it will come.

This Grasshopper is running out of patience, Sunday night we are suppose to get about 3 inches of snow and I thought I would be able to play a little in 4wheel drive.
Thank-you very much for the "ABC" of the Chicago rail system. ( I had no idea it was that bad) At least I know where it might be. I have a list of stuff I want to do, but I guess since it's so cold down here I would probably wait for warmer weather anyway.

Your more then welcome and sad to say Chicago is a mess but its much better then it was a just a year or two ago but of course that does nothing to help you. Oh well you can always do what I am doing while I wait on my own SR5 to arrive from neither, neither, land and that is to be shopping for goodies to install on it when the dealer's clarion call comes telling me its arrived!

May be a dumb question but, I don't know, what if any is the difference between "Running boards and Step Tubes. Im looking at what I thought was running boards and someone told me that they are Step Tubes.
this is what Im looking at
    http://www.runningboardwarehouse.co...oards-toyota-tacoma-double-cab-2005-2012.aspx
it says they will fit a 2016 dbsb
does anyone have these? like them? hate to get something that won't last.

Those are tubes. I have the Steelcraft chrome ones that look the same. Mine are solid - they look to definitely last. It wouldn't surprise me if they're all made by the same manufacturer.

I have these units on my truck and I love them. They have welded/sealed ends that can't come off and are solid as heck.

Traded my 2012 sport for the 16
I came from a 2nd gen and noticed that my 2nd gen warmed up faster. It was also hotter. I have dual climate.
