I was just coming in to start this thread, damn it you beat me to it.

I think it's awesome. Foxs, MTRs standard, Rigids

As far as factory options I think the Raptor finally has a real factory rival. I mean c'mon, do people really take the "Chevy Reaper" and Ram's "Rebel" and "Runner" seriously? The reaper and runner aren't even true factory productions. The Rebel I don't find impressive at all.

It isn't coming with the MT/R's, it is coming with the Goodyear Kevlar tires that the TRD Offroad gets. From what I have read a lot people are switching those out almost immediately.

Didn't see the tire size, would be nice if they actually bumped them to 265/75/16's but that most likely won't happen. Also, the black scoop decal makes me wonder if they have the same issues with scoop glare as the previous gen?

I think that's an appearance package that you can get on the sports now. Someone on here had a build thread and they removed all the vinyl decals. I guess it would help with glare but its pretty ugly if you ask me, better to just trade for a regular hood than have a sticker on it.

Hot damn, that thing looks nice. Not sure how I feel about the Rigid Industries logo, though.

Love it but looks like I will still go with the TRD OR 4x4 dbl cab long bed. The pro does not come in long bed. Maybe I could order that pro grill and put it on my OR

It would be great if that center "RIGID INDUSTRIES" logo isn't actually molded into the plastic, and just *pops* out, leaving the thin empty line/channel open. Fat chance, I know...

The 4Runner gets the 17" due to the larger 13" Brakes. The Tacomas 11" rotors clear 16" fine.

I really like this new TRD Pro! Very cool video too. I drove the Dalton Highway to the Arctic Circle when I was stationed in Alaska. I did it in the summer but it was still a really fun drive. Crazy thing was seeing a guy riding a bicycle north on that road. That dude was nuts.

I'd have to agree with you on that. That logo is larger than the "TACOMA" logo on my driver and passenger doors! But i'm sure most people won't pay it much attention.

That Rigid logo in nowhere near the size of the Tacoma logos on the doors. Probably about a 1/4 of the size..

This restores most of that tiny bit of lost faith in the Toyota Tacoma. In a world that is increasingly going urban and soft, it's refreshing to see commitment to a capable and dedicated off road TRUCK. A real TRUCK. This is why I really respected Ford when the Raptor came out and I've always admired the Powerwagon. This Tacoma seems pretty awesome.

A Toyota marketing guy keeping an eye on the forum just copied and pasted this into his notes, while saying "Phew! Time to ask for that summer bonus." Lol.
