Yup. That's my point too. A simple not so great first round pick isn't enough to grab a player like Ladd. They'd need to build a package and I don't think the Kings can afford to go there in multiple ways. There is tons of speculation because it drums up interest. Just look at this conversation. That alone builds up some hype and ratings.

 

I am still praying that Vancouver coughs up a first rounder for Ladd.

 

You never know. Vancouver always seems to try and reload rather than rebuild. I could see them selling off and buying at the deadline.

 

They won last night, but I see them dropping out of the playoff picture. ..but yeah i really havent a clue where their management are at with things. They just seem like a suitable target.

DS has earned the right to coach however he see's fit, he does not like to discuss players on or off ice, he respects and protects their privacy. he is a players coach 100%. Our room is tight, our team is one of the best in the NHL and we have the best fans on the planet. Thank you DL, DS and DB

Not sure where you are going here , they are likely to not trade guys like Vrbata or Hamhuis if they are still in it at the deadline , they aren't going to trade any of their young guys either way
