That's a nice looking truck! How do you like the Raptor 4" nerf bars? I'm looking for something that will help with wife and kids climb in but are easy enough to step over. I think 4" is the right size ... plus they look cool!

 

That looks way worse that what happened to my 2013 last month and mine was totaled. Glad you got the gap insurance and you're not hurt.

Stock size duratrac today. Only seen one truck with them so thought I'd share.

 

Replaced all the factory tweeters and 6.5 with Hertz DSK 165 speakers. Sounds amazing. What a difference.

Damn... Nieces new Camry was totaled two weeks ago by a girl plowing into her and a friend on Monday same thing rear ended by someone not paying attention. Glad your OK.

I sent those pics to the insurance adjuster who said they will have to pull off the hood and panels to see if there is any damage to the frame or if the engine was pushed into the firewall, if so its totaled, if not they will likely fix it. He said they will get it from the tow company tomorrow and get it to a shop to be checked and let me know. But he also said they try and NOT total out new vehicles.... I still havent made the first payment on it yet LOL

Id almost prefer they total it out though as im worried it will never be as good if they try and fix it. If its totaled ill get a brand new truck all over again....


Tomorrow my mud flaps and bed mat arrive, tomorrow my brackets for the light bar ship, Today or tomorrow my bed rail brackets ship and my wife just ordered me some seat covers.... Im definitely sticking with a 16 tacoma LOL

Up in my neck of the woods they pretty much right something off once the air bags deploy.

It looks like you took a pretty good hit that probably punched the drive train back a bit so I would watch that carefully.

The main thing is that everyone walked away, vehicles can be fixed or replaced

Dude that's a write off. Almost identical damage to mine just a month ago! Similar culprit!! Hope everyone involved ok! See my build page for pics. Frame was bent and the control arm support point at the frame had a small crack in weld (gen 2) Insurance said "hydroformed" frame unrepairable. Total loss.

Sorry to hear about that man. Make sure you rip all the goodies off before they salvage it ☺ if you can!

Processor yes because of keeping the stock radio. As far as amps. I'm putting a 10" kicker sub woofer behind the back seats. When I do that I will put the Kicker PXA 200.2, 2x100 on the Herts mids and tweeters and a Kicker PXA 500.1, 1 x 500 on the sub.
