True, fact is the only thing that the pro has over top package TRD OR is near to nothing that helps Off roading.

I agree, suspension perhaps and different offset on the rims. However I'm sure when it gets released trd will also release the parts as well.

Not everybody want's to buy a base model and add a shit ton of upgrades. They don't want to screw with suspension, getting realignments, buying aftermarket exhaust, going to get it welded on, ect. Why do all that shit when you can buy it installed from the factory. Sure it's not everyone's cup of tea, but there is a market out there for this truck. I for one like doing my own upgrades, but there's some dudes out there that would rather not deal with it. I can respect it, too bad most can't.

And the dudes making it a point to post about justifying the purchase of your truck makes it look rather the opposite. If you're happy with what you have there's no need to reinforce your purchase by making a post about it.

I agree, I dont see anything that makes me regret buying my 2016 trdor. Definitely not worth all the extra bucks to me.

    I would read this: http://expeditionportal.com/exclusive-test-2017-tacoma-trd-pro-review/

Says some good things about the package out in the wilderness..

That's totally fine. I just had an issue with the other poster saying all the extra stuff had no benefit at all offroad (a very absolute statement), when there is direct evidence to the contrary. It might end up being overpriced for what you get, but that list of equipment looks at least a modicum more capable or usable offroad than a stock TRD OR.

No big deal, just annoying to see unsubstantiated opinions.

I said near to no off road performances versus top packaged TRD OR. If you think suspension is a massive upgrade (which is the only known off road performance upgrade over the TRD OR) then to each their own.

Doh. Fair enough. I fail at reading...it wasn't an absolute statement. My bad. I shouldn't chuck spears while reading fast.

Anyhow, I certainly don't think it's a massive upgrade. No disagreement there. But, it's good to see a positive review with to show it has some value at least, which is a plus in my book. I hate non-functional, looks only upgrades (of which there are definitely some of those too).

Looks like they put a little more effort into this than the 2nd gen pro.

And I want a set of these wheels!

Curious what the backspacing is when they become available.

I think its pretty cool! Really like a lot more about it than I did with the 2015 TRD Pro.

The black euro style tail lights add a nice touch. The BHLM looks great. The suspension looks promising.

The front grill is a good improvement, but I don't understand why they made it protrude rather than recess into the opening... That part of it seems a bit awkward to me. I know the design style matches the other TRD Pro vehicles in terms of the lettering and center bar, but I wish they would jump on board with what is really popular. BIG ASS LETTERS. That being said, I still like the design that I'm working on better.

The TRD pro badge on the doors looks fancy. Maybe I'll make a couple just for fun?

You are one bitter man! Quit beating yourself up for buying the 2013 or just buy a 2016 so you'll feel better about yourself.

Your grill design looks really good! What material you plan on using to make it?

    Offended easily much?

The TRD Pro does target young buyers and I'd be willing to bet that 90% of those young buyers end up purchasing it over +7 year terms. That makes TFS money. My comment had nothing to do with your precious 2016
