Side steps (GoRhino) and some Husky liners front and back today. I like how the inferno appears to be different colors depending on how bright it is out.IMG_3764.jpg IMG_3767.jpg

Thanks guys. I plan to talk to them tomorrow to check if they will let me take off the side steps, grille, plate and some stuff from the inside an see what they say.

Stealthmode, i looked at the pic in your build page, did you have damage to both sides??

My passenger door is pushed back into the access cab door and stuck, other than that all the damage is in that corner, hood, and the plastic bumper is in pieces. All airbags deployed, both sides. I do hope they total it. It would likely never be the same even if they fix it. But i got a feeling they will try and fix it.

Really? I have Goodyear adventures. I love them. Quiet. Good traction on snow and ice. Tough sidewalls. Good mpg. I think they are way better than the Toyos that came on truck. Don't mean to start a fued. Just my perspective.

Make sure if they total it to strip it of all the parts you can before they take it away

Hopefully if you get a new truck or this truck fixed, you decide on a new front grill emblem.

You can only take off the aftermarket stuff and but the OEM back on. You take anything off and leave a hole there, they'll reduce your settlement by the amount of that part. Goes for tires, wheels, stereo, everything. Fair.... if the insurance company is paying you for your truck, they should get a whole truck, right ?

That won't happen. I will do the grille exactly the same, already talked to CCG.

It's cool everyone has their own preferences, you don't have to like it, I love it.

I'm a quarter Greek, not that much I know, my last name is Greek, son has full Greek name, I have always been intrigued by it.

If you don't like the grille... You'd hate my right arm tattoo sleeve LOL

I'm having a member on here make me side decals, Molon Labe edition... There in the works... It's a theme... I'll stick with it.

    But thanks anyway :D

Installed the NFAB w2w nerf bars made for 2016 Tacoma (T1580CC-TX). Took only 15 minutes in the rain

We sell them at salvage to recoup some of our payment. Just to give you an idea, if we paid Getting Lost for his 2016 Tacoma in the condition it's in, we might be able to get about $2500 at salvage for it. We'd get more if it was a rear end collision, of course, if the engine and tranny were undamaged. Insurance companies getting some of that money back means everyone pays less for insurance.

Wow! No wonder salvaged title resellers make so much money. That's crazy

Yeah, we don't get back much money on them at all. In my example, $2500 is a lot compared to what we get for most totaled vehicles. On average, we might get back $500 or $600.
