Nice, that was a killer deal. I wish I could have jumped on it just to hold for a while, but didn't have the cash at the time. Glad someone from the forum got it.

I'm still curious as to why it took him so long to sell it. Its been sitting for so long there was a dead roach in one of the boxes, and as I mentioned earlier, a dead spider in the TB, and who knows what else made its way up the runners.

Not sure how accurate my caliper is but this seems off. Regardless, I'm going to take it off to get ported.

Edit - I guess Toyota V8's use these big TB's. Though I thought it was a 5.7 specific thing.

left work late last night heading down a dark stretch. A stock Tundra Pro was trolling/ driving like a DB. Next thing you know we were lined up at the next light. Dude was lunging with his brakes on. I rolled up till our front bumpers lined up. Moderate tire spin off the line but was still able to get half a truck length and surprisingly kept it till I let off at 60.

Lifted with 275's. AFE intake and SC.

    Tundy Pro looked stock.

About mid 60's out last night. Gotta say I was really surprised. Guessing dude was not too happy.

Hahah gotta love smoking full sizes. Hopped on the highway the other evening to grab some food, some lowered chevy something didnt want to let me over and sped up when I sped up to pass. Dropped a gear and pulled ahead pretty quickly, could hear his V8 screaming over the whine as I pulled ahead amd got ahead of him. Just trying to pass before we hit the traffix in my lane ahead, dick. And, I win.

I just got off the phone with Toyota and they have no idea where to find the TRD supercharger oil change kit. Do any of you guys know where to pick one up at?

Any GM dealer. Several GM cars have S/C. It uses the same oil. Little blue bottles @ 4oz each.

When I change my plugs, I pull of the S/C. I change the oil, when i have it off the engine.
It takes a little time to get the S/C off, but it makes the plug swap easier and it is easier to change the oil.

I know that he Artie says to change the supercharger oil every 100K. I'm up at about 115k and I don't know if the previous owner ever changed the oil so I'm a little paranoid

Might be a dumb question but I'll ask anyway.

How can I tell if the previous owner changed the pully?

Also, I'm pretty sure that even if you have the URD stealth pulley, it still looks a little bit different than the factory pulley

That's why I'm asking, i would think its the stealth
It still has the 3.00 printed on it but there's no Torc marks so I'm curious if it's changed or not

Speaking of smaller pulleys, Justus was going to mail me his URD pulley tool for when I switch to the 2.85 but he seems to have disappeared. Does anybody else have that tool laying around that they could mail me temporarily? I will send it back when I'm done

I believe the factory puts a dab of paint on it too....as an identifier. That way they can if its been changed. Does your current pulley have anything like that on it??
