    You just need a threaded insert with a long enough grip range and the installation tool to have a threaded stud long enough to go at least one thread past the threaded insert. They make a lot of different grip ranges. Issue I learned over time is the thicker the material, the easier it is to break the stud when trying to compress the threaded insert. Easiest way to fix that is go to a bigger bolt size threaded insert. Ive seen them up to 3/8-16 and as small as #6-32.

    Ok so this is the tool. The tip is threaded and can be changed out to different threads.

    The whole kit and the arms opened.

    With the arms open the nipple sticks out further.

    Screw on the nut zert.

    Close the arms.

    With it crimped.

    Then reopen the arms and unscrew the black knob and your nut zert is set. image.jpg [
