Hey everybody!
Man, I left Montego Bay and it was 84 degrees. Landed at home in Portland at 1AM and it was 10 degrees. And then this morning it was -3 at the house. Talk about a shock to the system! Good thing I had lots and lots of rum still in my system for insulation...

And this is the part where you 'splain seppuku to us

 

long story short, ritualistic suicide where i would disembowel myself with a sword (driving into my abdomen and then pulling to the side), and then someone who honors me would decapitate me to end my suffering. it'll be glorious

 

Sounds fun, and interesting. DANG!

 

It was pretty sweet. The resort only has 20-something rooms, and only half of them were occupied. And most of those were retirees who were more interested in the pool than in the ocean. We had the beach completely to ourselves 4 days out of 5.

 

so what you're saying is you got busy on the beach 4 times?

Sex on the beach really isn't as good as it sounds, you know. The sand gets...places. Places you don't want sand.

Not quite yet though... that will come when he starts complaining about not getting "it" as much...

 

The trip was awesome. Sat on the beach and drank rum, mostly. Did some snorkeling, enjoyed some local foods, read some books, etc. Good relaxing trip; it was nice not to have to be anyplace at any set time.
