However, I did join the weightlifting team this year. Now I have to learn how to clean and jerk to compete.

Any of you guys into raw denim? I am looking to invest in a nicer pair but looking for a cut that is accommodating for my legs. Levi 501 STF are my go to just because they are cheap and easy to source. I blow the crotch out in about 5 months though. I ordered a pair of unbranded 301 on sale for $60 to try out for now.

Brb going to buy Chucks, kapri pants and a 2x4.

Haha sorry. Couldn't pass sig'ing that!

    What sport?
Vans Sk8 high. I've always had 1-2 pair of Vans since I was about 12-13. So comfortable

 If Arnold did it, it's probably a good idea to do it, too! I'd rather just go buy a 2x4 over some expensive weight lifting shoes though

I'm gonna look into it. 99% of everything I wear is J Crew (it's the only place around here to get nicer clothes for a good price. Plus, I get a student discount), but I can't really wear blue jeans because I can't move in them! J Crew has the best shirts ever. They're classy/fratty looking (if that's your thing), but have small arm holes, so you look jacked in them  The downside is that their pants are the same way. They're not made for dudes with quads, at all. That's why, outside of work, I either wear shorts or sweatpants.

You are the king of multiquote...

But it makes it hard to requote you lol

I was reading about those elevated heel workouts yesterday after they got mentioned here and basically came to the conclusion that both flat or elevated squats are good and each have different advantages. Flat over elevated gives you more power for jumping or sprints. I was planning on trying the elevated today using a 25lb plate since I am pretty sure if I walked in the gym looking like Jim Duggan I would get kicked out...

I used to wear a lot of jcrew. We have some outlet malls close to us that have jcrew outlets and I used to load up with the discounted stuff with an additional student discount. Every time I go now the stuff is more expensive than the regular store so I quit shopping there. My clothes are 95% from Old Navy now and the rest are TJ Maxx finds from my wife. I actually just blew out the crotch in my 2nd pair of jeans and couldn't figure out why (aside from the obvious reason that my penis is too big duh...he said wishfully ...) but now it makes sense that my leg gains = jean blow outs.

Yeah, I shop at the JCrew Outlet at our local Tanger Outlet Mall. Jeans are a pain in the ass. I can wear them, but if I drop something on the ground I basically have to lay down to pick it up

Also, I did shoulders last night, but a friend was doing squats and, despite my knee pain, I jumped in on 2 sets to see how my knee would take it. I did 135x15 and 315x6 and had no knee issues at all. It still hurts a little when going from a seated position to standing, but squatting has no effect on it. I think it's just a strain. Can't decide if I wanna do legs today after work or one morning over the weekend.

I was Wolowitz for Halloween a few years ago and got some Classic low-top Vans for the costume and decided to lift in them on leg day and fell in love. The only thing they're missing is ankle support, so I'm gonna order the Sk8 Hi's. I'm bringing Vans into the lifting world
